A Third Medical Marijuana Dispensary Opens in Miami Dade County

Curaleaf Dispenary Miami

More medical marijuana dispensaries are opening up in South Florida, but at a rather slow pace. Curaleaf is the newest dispensary to Miami Dade County. Its first store opened on Thursday, September 21.

Curaleaf is the brand by Costa Farms, according to Miami Herald. This is only the third medical marijuana dispensary in the metropolitan area. Trulieve was the first dispensary to open in the area in April.

Liberty Health Sciences will also be opening a medical marijuana dispensary across from Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale in the near future.

Gregg Roberts, CEO of Curaleaf, said that, “In opening the first of several state-of-the-art dispensaries throughout Florida, we want the community to know that we are committed to safety, accessibility, exceptional quality, and superior customer service.”

Curaleaf was formerly known as Modern Health Concepts.
