Sales Soar High at Florida Dispensaries During Coronavirus

Florida officials have released a new report showing a significant increase in medical marijuana sales as the pandemic continues. Data also shows that medical marijuana patients are preferring vape and other concentrates over flower at the moment. Flower sales have decreased a little.

Trulieve continues to lead the state in medical marijuana sales, Florida Politics reported. A one week example of sales indicates that Trulieve alone made 49.9% of the state’s sales. They have also sold the most flower in the state.

Officials provided a one-week comparison, not giving dates, showing that one week sales were 98,460,000 mg of medical marijuana products and the next week sales were 107,823,503 mg.

Trulieve and Surterra Wellness have been making budget-priced products a priority for patients.

Sales are expected to be strong for three major players in Florida’s medical marijuana market through the remainder of the pandemic – Trulieve, Surterra Wellness and Curaleaf.
