Florida Marijuana Industry Job Training Courses Launching

Cannabis Law

Medical marijuana dispensary training is being provided by HempStaff in Florida. Courses will be held this weekend to help educate those interested in working in the medical marijuana industry. The cost of the courses with pre-registration is $249. The cost at the door is $300.

HempStaff started training courses in 2014, according to PR Newswire. HempStaff works to train industry employees in several states, including Arizona, Maryland, Nevada, Ohio and Illinois. With as many as 425 dispensaries potentially opening in Florida, trained staff is a priority.

Training will offer participants general information regarding marijuana and different types of marijuana products. It will also help educate potential industry employees on Florida’s medical marijuana laws. Following the completion of the course, a certification exam will be administered.

In order to receive a certificate, participants must pass the exam with at least a 75-percent grade.

HempStaff also works as a recruiting agency to help dispensaries fill positions.

President of HempStaff, Rosie, said, “We are very excited to bring our Dispensary Training Course back to our home state of Florida. After a two year wait, it seems Florida is finally ready to establish a legitimate Medical Marijuana program that will create jobs statewide with up to 425 dispensaries and 4 – 5 employees per dispensary, that will create about 2,000 Florida medical marijuana jobs just on the dispensing side alone!”
