Arizona Clothing Company to Get Its Own Marijuana Strain Name

Marijuana Clothing Company

Kynd Lyfe, a Phoenix-based cannabis clothing company, is in the process of collaborating with an Arizona medical marijuana cultivator and dispensary to get a marijuana strain named after the company. The “Kynd Lyfe Kush” marijuana strain should be available at participating dispensaries in Arizona in early 2019, and in other states later that year.

“Kynd Lyfe Kush will become the first time a clothing line has had a marijuana strain named after it,” Kynd Lyfe told AZmarijuana.com. The strain will be a hybrid and provide stress relief, pain relief and creative energy.

The naming is unique because marijuana strains are typically named after celebrities, not businesses. A few notable examples:

  • Wiz Khalifa’s Khalifa Kush
  • Snoop Dogg’s Snoop Dogg OG
  • Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s Gupta Kush
  • Jack Herer’s Jack Herer
  • President Obama’s Obama Kush

“We launched Kynd Lyfe to provide classy, comfy cannabis-related clothing for men and women” said Kynd Lyfe. “Our clothing has stylish designs about marijuana strains and legalization that are great for everyday wear.”

The marijuana clothing company has dozens of shirts, but is best known for these popular shirts:

Kynd Lyfe launched its online clothing store in 2017, and has plans to open brick and mortar retail stores in Phoenix and Tucson in 2019.
